Since then, I have worked in Cape Cod, Dallas, Houston, and Austin. I even had my own restaurant in South Padre Island, TX. After living and working in NC for years, I’m ready to bring my experiences to this amazing area! 🧑🍳

Curry in a Hurry is a foodie's dream, born out of a passion for cooking authentic Indian cuisine by our multi-time award winning chef and owner, Alaksha Surti. In 2011, Alaksha started Alaksha’s Custom Catering, which evolved into our original (and still traveling) food truck in 2017. Ever since, we’ve expanded into 3 locations and have been proudly serving authentic Indian curry dishes to Wake County and the Triangle region ever since.
